Dr. Ankur Thummar has an MD (Internal Medicine) degree from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, and a D.M. (Cardiology) degree from India’s renowned King Edward Memorial Hospital (K.E.M.), Mumbai.
He has worked as an interventional cardiologist at S.R. Mehta Cardiac Research Institute, Mumbai, and has experience working in leading hospitals across India.
With over 5 years of experience as a cardiologist, he has mastered complex procedures for treating heart diseases including angiography, angioplasty, and stenting (heart attack treatment), pacemaker (PPI, BMV, BPV) heart valve treatment.
Dr. Ankur Thummar also specializes in non-invasive cardiology such as 2D/3D echocardiography, transesophageal echo (TEE), Holter monitoring, HUTT, stress test, and stress echo.
